University Research Team Faces Challenges of Measuring Multiple Lasers
OphirBlog
Lasers used in labs must be measured.
However, there are usually many constraints, even besides the obvious one (money):
- Cost effective
- Commercially available
- Easy to use
- Quick to set up
On top of that, in a recent application, a research team had to measure three different laser beam profiles. Each laser had a very different wavelength, so the solution was not so obvious.
At first, the researches wanted to get two profiling systems, but this turned out to be cost-prohibitive.
