We talk a lot here about lasers.
How to measure laser power, energy, size, and distribution profile. How to avoid damage from lasers. Etc., etc.
But what about other light sources?
As much as I’m obsessed with the ubiquity of lasers in cutting-edge research, I’ll be the first to admit that there is a need for other light sources as well:
